An exhibition full of contrasts
Overview
Intro
Philippe Ioset gives scrap metal a new lease of life. May-Lucy Süess transforms paper into organic and abstract forms.
In Philippe Ioset’s hands, shovels become dragonflies, screws turn into flowers, and secateurs take on the shape of a hen’s beak. In this way, he transforms iron destined for the scrap heap. Each of his creations tells a story steeped in poetry.
ㅤ
May-Lucy Süess creates a dialogue between matter and light. In her hands, rag paper is adorned with colour, taking the form of mountains one moment, a labyrinth the next. A play of shadows, colours and movement in which the material reveals its strengths and fragilities.
