Rapidly melting ice masses, booming tourism, three new airports under construction, growing mountains of waste, global investors in search of natural resources and a self-confident Greenland on the way to an indigenous identity and independence. Greenland's transformation is intense, dynamic and contradictory. But how do the local people perceive all this? And what can we learn from this about the world they live in?
