Conn
Overview
Intro
In the 19th century, long before the idea of skiing as a sport was invented, tourists came to Flims because of the aromatic smell of the pine trees. To this day, a lot of those who enjoy nature and tranquillity prefer to go down to the magical Flims forest rather than up to the ski slopes.

Description
Ambience:
A 45-minute hike through the forest leads guests to the Conn restaurant with its beautiful sun terrace, warm welcome and unpretentious fine cuisine. The Conn is a popular destination for a day out; it is therefore strongly recommended to book in advance.
Location:
Out of a Grimm’s fairy tale, located at the edge of the forest high above the Rhine Gorge and the Cauma Lake. A five-minute walk from the viewing platform “II Spir”. At 400 metres above the gorge, the platform offers spectacular panoramic views over the so-called Swiss Grand Canyon.
Cuisine:
The menu is limited, but sublime and only uses regional produce: barley soup, fried vegetables with sour cream, salad with fresh goat’s cheese, peach ravioli Trins-style, ricotta ravioli, venison carpaccio with chanterelle mushrooms, fennel salad with dates, polenta with Pila sausage, cheese and dried meat platters, freshly baked cake and tarts. There are also some outstanding Italian wines to complement the menu.
