Description
Ambience:
The interior of the restaurant with its typical Engadine stone pine and white plastered walls as well as the sun terrace spread a cosy atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, which creates the right mood for its guest to enjoy everything that is on offer. The comfy sun loungers with sheepskin covers and soft blankets are the perfect place after the meal to sip a glass of Champagne and relax in the sun. The same building also hosts the self-service restaurant Marcho Allegra (fresh fast food) and the Pizzeria Chadafö (wood-fired pizza and BBQ menu).
Location:
Located at 2,278 metres in the middle of the Corviglia ski resort, close to the mountain station Marguns, with views over the Plateau-Nair chairlift and its ski slopes.
Cuisine:
The food at the Stüvetta Marguns is unpretentious, but it never fails to indulge the taste buds of its discerning guests. The diverse menu caters for every taste and every mood: creamy tomato soup, goat’s cheese wrapped in bacon on endive salad with figs, steak tartare, a choice of pasta and risotto dishes, Capuns filled with salmon on a morel cream sauce, sea bass on Granny Smith apple sauce with wild rice and pomegranate seeds, veal cordon bleu with chips and vegetables, venison medallions with Spätzli and red cabbage, beef fillet with baked potatoes and chive and sour cream dip; and for dessert, mousse au chocolat, panna cotta with quince or a small apple cake with tonka bean ice-cream.
