The slopes in the Arosa winter sports area mainly range from easy to moderate, but there is also a wide and attractive selection of pistes suitable for more seasoned skiers. The black-marked Hörnli Piste in particular is perfect for those sporting turns.
Experienced skiers are sure to find their passions reawakened on the Hörnli. The hilly slopes high above the treeline are perfect for a highly stimulating descent. There is a very varied network of trails that starts at the mountain station for the Hörnli-Express gondola. Sports-loving skiers first cover the upper section of this really easy trail to the Carmenna Hut before turning right and on to the challenging Hörnli Piste, which takes them on a pleasant downward run to the Hörnli chairlift valley station.
