Multiday hikes in Valais

The 74-km Wine Trail leads through the band of vineyards between Leuk and Martigny. The stretch can be covered in four stages, the best times being spring or autumn – in summer it’s hot and humid in the vineyards.

The skilfully laid «bisses» irrigation channels are evidence of Valais history and culture. Fabulous flora along the way, the babbling water so soothing. The «Chemin des Bisses», a hike for all senses, follows the holy waters.
