Description

The Rinderalp is situated between 1650 and 2010 m.a.s.l. high above the Simmental and the Diemtigtal in the Bernese Oberland. It offers a beautiful view of Lake Thun and the surrounding mountain landscape. The alpine meadows go up to 2000m.

We manage the Rinderalp as a family business with tradition since 1977 from June to September. In the modern equipped cheese dairy we process every morning the milk of 46 dairy cows to different specialties. We are particularly proud of our certified Berner Alpkäse AOC. In addition, we summer about 40 cattle, 40 sows and our chickens.
