Not far from the economic hustle and bustle, a toboggan run offers some laid-back fun for the whole family on Zug's local mountain. If there is enough snow, the thrilling ride on the Schlittelstrasse runs from the Zugerberg mountain station to the Schönegg valley station.

What could be better than coursing over a sea of fog in the magical winter wonderland? The Zugerbergbahn funicular railway will take you to the local Zug mountain in just 8 minutes. Once you have reached the top, you'll enjoy the enchanted winter landscape of the Zugerberg.
The Zugerberg restaurant, right next to the Zugerbergbahn mountain station, is an inviting spot to stop for a hot tea or delicious punch. Enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains and the lake from the terrace. The spectacular Schlittelstrasse starts right below the Zugerberg restaurant. From there, the toboggan run leads directly past the farm and into the forest in three big bends. The ride continues at a tearing pace along the almost 3 km-long Schlittelstrasse to the Schönegg valley station, with an altitude difference of 350 m. Once you arrive at the destination, the Zugerbergbahn funicular railway will take you straight back up for another toboggan ride.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
