With almost 350 years of history, the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois is one of the most traditional hotels in Europe. Located in the heart of Basel's Old Town on the Rhine, this hotel combines historic charm with casual elegance. True to its motto "Rich in History, Young at Heart", the hotel aims to meet the highest standards and create unforgettable experiences. Over the centuries, Les Trois Rois has welcomed many illustrious guests and has secured a place of choice in the luxury hotel industry.

At the Cheval Blanc by Peter Knogl, awarded 3 Michelin stars and 19 Gault-Millau points, you can enjoy high-end French cuisine with Mediterranean and Asian influences. The wine list, which includes more than 700 references, completes this culinary experience. At the Brasserie Les Trois Rois, you can enjoy a selection of Swiss and French specialities with a view of the Rhine, which has been awarded 15 GaultMillau points. The Three Kings Bar offers award-winning cocktails and is popular as a lively meeting place for customers, locals and regulars alike. Since September 2025, the Banks restaurant has been a new culinary address in Basel. Its innovative concept with European and Asian accents complements the existing gastronomic offer of the establishment.

The latest chapter in the history of the establishment: the reopening of the main building in June 2025, refurbished by the renowned architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron. New rooms and suites, modern function rooms and an exclusive wellness area have been created.

With the renovation, the rooms for meetings and banquets will also be renovated and the hotel looks forward to being able to offer an attractive and flexible range of rooms from 2025.
