Introduction
At the southern end of the Schrattenfuh, the impressive karst landscape of the Biosphere Entlebuch, at the foot of the Schibegütsch (1774 meters).
Access from the valley of Sörenberg (PostBus), or, somewhat steeper, from Kemmeriboden Bad. The hut is located between Entlebuch in Canton Lucerne and the Emmental Valley in Canton Bern. Only 18 dormitory beds, open all year. There is no warden. For reservations please contact the hut's manager.
