The Jugendhaus Stiegelschwand of the Salvation Army is situated about 2 kilometres from the village of Adelboden in the Bernese Oberland (Switzerland). You can reach it by car. In winter the shuttle bus stops in front of the house. There are at your disposal: a large kitchen, a dining hall, a games hall, a play field for tennis, handball, basket ball, volleyball). Overhead projector and screen are available.
The Jugendhaus is particularly suited for groups, clubs and schools.
The ground floor and the 1st floor are equipped with 20 beds. The 1st floor is accessible for wheelchair users via an outside ramp. The WC's are wheelchair accessible, but without handles. The showers are not accessible. Door widths outside showers approx. 80 cm. An overnight stay for wheelchair users is therefore not recommended - at most one visit.
