1895~1897년 지어진 빌라 보베리(Villa Boveri)는 발터 보베리(Walter Boveri)가의 바덴 거주지였다. 이 가문은 브라운 보버리 앤 시에(Brown Boveri & Cie) 사의 공동 창업주이다. 저택과 공원 모두 진정한 유적으로 당국의 보호를 받고 있다.

카푸친(Capuchin) 수도회 근처 및 “샨츠(Schanz)”에 있는 장미 정원에서 5월부터 10월까지 피어나는 2만여 송이의 장미 덕분에 라퍼스빌(Rapperswil)은 “장미 도시”라는 별명을 얻게 되었다.

공원 내에는 탑의 유적, 폭포, 신고전주의의 사원, 오렌지 과수원, 조류 사육장과 이국적이고 거대한 나무들이 있어 영국식 정원의 가장 아름다운 예로 꼽힌다.

It’s not uncommon to cross paths with students of the University of Zurich’s Irchel Campus here. The institution’s buildings are set in an enchanting location in the upper part of the park.

This gem among the parks of Zurich was built in the middle of the beautiful park for a high-classicist style villa at the start of the 19th century. Today, this villa is home to the renowned Belvoirpark hotel management school and a restaurant.

Just a few minutes from the city centre, shady green spaces, tall trees and a pebble beach offer the perfect spot for fun in the water and relaxation. Walking trails wind their way through the expansive lawned areas, and the view of the Bernese Alps is simply marvellous.
