The Hotel Krone is a friendly hidden gem in the Upper Engadine – a fascinating mix of art, architecture, fine dining, sport, relaxation and Engadine hospitality. It is an ideal departure point for golfers, walkers and winter sports enthusiasts. And, thanks to health and well-being facilities, the perfect place to pamper mind and body. The 10 double rooms and 8 suites bear the signature of the renowned architect Hans-Jörg Ruch. Alterations in 2008 provided new suites furnished in a variety of local woods such as maple, larch and Swiss pine. They also have double steam showers – for elegant all-round relaxation in private surroundings. All rooms + suites have shower/bath, satellite TV, radio + free internet access. The Krone is non-smoking throughout.
The fully renovated Gasthaus Krone lies directly on the River Inn. This symbiosis of art, architecture and a warm Engadin welcome represents something of a well-kept secret.

A hotel that’s ideal for winter sports: the Engadin Ski Marathon cross-country ski trail is just around the corner, with around 230 kilometres of trail leading through the snowy landscape. Four-legged friends are welcome on the dog trail. Hop on the ski bus (the bus stop is in front of the hotel) to be taken directly to the ski areas. A further highlight is the ice trail: glide through the beautiful pasture landscape on ice skates.
