블랙풀의 당나귀(A Donkey in Blackpool)
캐나다인인 제프 월은 우리가 사진이라는 매체를 바라보는 방식을 바꾸었다. 월(Wall)의 작품은 모티브가 평범하고 첫 눈에는 거의 잔상처럼 보이는 경우에도 항상 고도로 조율되어 있다. 사진들 중 일부는 다수의 조수로 이루어진 팀과 촬영되었고, 문화를 포함한 다른 순수미술 작품에 대한 언급을 포함하고 있다. 예를 들어 블랙풀의 당나귀는 영국 화가 조지 스터브스(George Stubbs)의 널리 알려진 유화 “휘슬재킷(Whistlejacket)” (1762)을 나타내고 있다.
