메타-마틱 No. 10(Méta-Matic No. 10)
1959년 팅겔리는 파리에서 최초로 그의 메타-마틱을 선보였다. 관람객들이 직접 작동시킬 수 있는 드로잉 기계인데, 움직이는 거치대에 고정되어 있는 매직펜이 종이 위 혹은 이곳 저곳을 스치면 기계가 흔들리는 소리와 함께 추상적인 그림이 탄생한다. 이 기계적인 조각품은 사용자가 펜의 색을 바꾸거나, 움직임의 간격을 자유롭게 조정함으로써 결과물에 영향을 줄 수 있다. 팅겔리는 메타-마틱을 통해 관람객들이 인터랙티브하게 예술 행위에 참여하도록 유도했다.
