All about Julia - Das Musical
Overview
Intro
Shakespeare Remixed: Be there when history is rewritten! Now with a dash of pop, lots of energy, and heart!
"All About Julia" is a fun, lively musical that reimagines the ending of Shakespeare's famous tragedy, *Romeo and Juliet*. In this exciting production, the character Anne Hathaway—Shakespeare's wife—decides to change the story and give Juliet a chance to survive. She picks up her pen and writes a new story in which Juliet does not die for love, but instead embarks on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth.
The reimagined story focuses on a young woman who makes her own decisions and steps out from the shadow of her family, her suitor, and her small-town community. Juliet’s new experiences—from exploring the city of Paris to meeting new friends—show her that there is a whole wide world beyond the walls of Verona and that she need not be confined to the brief and tragic plot originally imposed on her by Shakespeare.
In this Juliet, we finally see a young woman who realizes her full potential and embraces the endless possibilities the world has to offer.
