Chest: It’s hard to pinpoint an age for Chest’s music, as it seems to be in constant motion—a fusion of spontaneous energy and timeless electricity. The band didn’t choose this name by chance: for years, its members have been breathing music through every pore of their bodies, having bonded in the darkness and vibrations of Supersonic, the heart of the independent music scene in Paris. But while their tracks are certainly all about energy and volume, chest. also aims to express their love for melodies that bring people together and electronic music that packs a punch. Steeped in timeless British influences, the band strikes a balance between sound and composition, somewhere between melodic temptations, a genuine desire to get people dancing, and a sonic tidal wave. Because ever since their debut, chest. has dreamed of only one thing: becoming a true live powerhouse—the kind that makes crowds sweat and puts smiles on faces in the mosh pits. Chaufau So give your wonderful water heater a good rub three times, and you’ll be surprised to see four merry fellows from French-speaking Switzerland appear! They certainly won’t claim to grant all your wishes, but they’ll proudly present the fruits of their unsettling sonic experiments… We’re all in the same CHAUFAU!
