Exhibition-Performance by Alain Bardet

You can shorten it a bit for the caption of an Instagram post: Fundraiser at Villa Mirage: Exhibition, performance, and pasta party with Alain Bardet October 30 at 6:30 p.m. An evening to get together, discover artworks, enjoy pasta, and support our ongoing cultural and artistic adventures! On October 30, Alain Bardet will take over Villa Mirage for a fundraising event for our association and the unveiling of the new multiple he’s creating for the venue. But what exactly is a multiple? It’s a work produced in a limited edition, with each copy signed and numbered. For this edition, Alain is using our Riso printer to create his image in different color variations. These multiples are intended for our member friends who support our association with a contribution of 120 CHF—either a one-time donation or an annual renewal. It’s a chance to acquire a work by Alain Bardet at a very reasonable price while supporting our activities! For this evening, his artistic world will unfold across several spaces in the Villa, blending exhibition and live creation. Alain will create a large-format work, inspired by the improvisations of Simon Coquoz and Antoine Giovannini on guitar, drums, and whatever other instruments they can get their hands on. The artwork will be available for purchase after the performance. In the main hall, it’s all about a friendly atmosphere: a bar, a beautiful long table, and delicious pasta from DoubleMenton, served with a variety of sauces—all vegetarian and gluten-free. Both the meal and the bar will operate on a pay-what-you-can basis. All proceeds from the evening will go to our association to help us continue our cultural and artistic activities. If you love Villa Mirage, come enjoy some pasta, have a drink, and let yourself be swept away by the psychedelic world of Alain Bardet & Co. We’re counting on you!
