Young and old alike are invited to the Centre sportif du Régent on 2 January at 5.00 pm to enjoy Prokofiev's timeless masterpiecePeter and the Wolfas a family - a work that continues to captivate all generations to this day. On stage, the magic comes to life thanks to an exceptional artistic collaboration: the mastery of the musicians of the Sinfonia Valais-Wallis Orchestra conducted by Laurent Zufferey, the radiant personality of the narrator Mali Van Valenberg, and the animated illustrations by Grégoire Pont.
Peter and the Wolfwas composed in 1936 to introduce children to the instruments of the orchestra. This playful and captivating work associates each character with a musical theme. Follow the adventures of the brave Peter as he faces the wolf through famous musical themes, in which each character takes on the characteristics of an instrument: will you be able to recognise them all? A complete, funny and educational show to enjoy together as we kick off the new year!
