Overview
Intro
ATMOSPHERIC ACCORDION
Mario Batkovic is a Swiss composer, multi-instrumentalist, and accordionist known for his experimental and transdisciplinary style. He composes for films and video games, writes works for symphony orchestra and choir, and works both with bands and as a solo artist in the field of electronic music. International media and critics describe his music as avant-garde. Physically intense, it creates a symbiosis between man and machine. An iconic figure in modern accordion music, he tours internationally and performs at festivals such as Supersonic, Le Guess Who, Bushfire, and the Montreux Jazz Festival.
