The dances and music of the Ryukyu Islands are among Okinawa's most defining traditions and have been carefully passed down through generations.
In an award-winning documentary, Jura-born director Daniel López invites you to discover these precious customs threatened by the passage of time.
This extraordinary event offers a comprehensive experience by combining the screening of “UMUI – GUARDIANS OF TRADITION” with a live stage performance by the film's protagonists, presenting Okinawan traditions in their purest form.
