About the artists
Guillaume Petit, architect of the third generation, perceives painting as a journey of discovery. The theme of DNA arose purely coincidentally during the creation of his very first painting. This unexpected emergence paved the way he walks today. After an initial series on the emergence of DNA on Earth – which gave his works an aquatic dimension – the second series presented here focuses on the life of DNA and its pulsation. This is expressed in colorful dances, each representing a moment of life. Through painting, the artist enters into a dialogue – through expressive and lively works.
Viola von Scarpatetti sings her poetic chansons in the Sala Segantini and accompanies herself on the guitar, accordion, and mandolin. In an intimate and acoustic setting, amidst the exhibition of her partner Guillaume Petit. An aperitif concert of approximately 20 minutes.
