Intro
In the heart of Vully, discover a product as rare as it is unexpected: Swiss rice.
Brothers Léandre and Maxime Guillod took over their parents' farm in 2022. They are the third generation of a family of market gardeners in Môtier in the Vully region.
Since 2023, they have been growing rice on 6 hectares of their land.
During this guided tour of Riz du Vully, immerse yourself in the world of a crop that is unique in Switzerland. Discover the rice fields, production methods, agricultural challenges linked to the terroir and the history of this daring project. The tour ends with a convivial aperitif served on site with a breathtaking view of the green terraces, symbols of innovation and local passion.
