The toboggan run from Sparenmoos to Heimchueweid takes you across meadows and then through forests, starting off level and then becoming an bit steeper and winding. On the first part of the toboggan run you have continual views of the Simmental valley.

Sparenmoos is located on a plateau above Zweisimmen and is 1,640 metres above sea level. This high moorland area is considered to be a landscape of national importance with its multitude of scenic gems.

Take the bus from the Zweisimmen train station to the starting point near the Berghaus Sparenmoos. On the first part of this toboggan run you have continual views of the Simmental valley. The route takes you across snow-covered meadows and through wooded areas.

Since the run is not very steep between the starting point and Heimchueweid it is suitable for families. And from here there is a bus that takes you back to the start or to the village of Zweisimmen.
