Cancellations are free up to 5 days before arrival. Thereafter, or with no show will be charged with the price of the entire stay. Exception: 11/23/2014 - 05/03/2015 cancellation period 30 days.

The Backstage Hotel is ideally located right at the centre of Zermatt. Both the Gornergrat Bahn electric railway and the Sunnega Bahn can be reached on foot in five minutes or by ski-bus. The skating rink and the tennis courts are located just opposite the hotel. From the "z'Bund" coffee lounge, you can watch the goings-on outside while enjoying tea and cake and reading the newspapers, or can simply let your gaze wander across the landscape. Skis, sledges and bikes can be rented directly in the experienced Julen Sports Shop below the hotel.
Zermatt is car free, so it is not possible to drive with the car to the hotel directly. One option is to park the car in Täsch, 10km away and take the shuttle-train or the taxi. The other option is to arrive with the train from Visp.
