Inleiding

Goed onderhouden, origineel hotel in het oude centrum van Solothurn met 15 moderne kamers in een historische setting. Fijne interieurstijl, exclusief klassiek design, moderne badkamers. Het restaurant biedt creatieve gerechten, bereid met marktverse producten. Het hotel wordt coöperatief beheerd en werd in 2012 verkozen tot een van de 15 beste 3-sterren en boutique hotels in Zwitserland. Tevens literaire evenementen.

Beschrijving

The Hotel and Restaurant Baseltor is a true Solothurn institution and a popular meeting place for connoisseurs.
Located in the middle of the old town, a lot of emphasis is placed on sustainability here. This is also reflected in the 17 individually furnished rooms. All of them are unique and spread over four houses. Winding corridors, different floor plans as well as the colour scheme and the furnishings with design classics give them a very special charm. All rooms have parquet flooring and a simply furnished bathroom with shower. The Hotel Baseltor is one of the Swiss Historic Hotels and is certified with the ibex fairstay label.
The restaurant serves fresh, regional products and organic meats, prepared by hand. Creative dishes, lived sustainability and warm hospitality make the Baseltor a lively meeting place. The restaurant is also cozy and stylishly furnished and has around 100 seats spread over 3 indoor and outdoor areas on different floors, which makes guests feel comfortable. The Mediterranean dishes with an oriental touch have been awarded 12 points by GaultMillau. In the cooperative pub, however, despite points, the focus is on the products and not on Etepetete.

Het herenhuis van de dom uit de 17-de eeuw is vandaag de dag een smaakvol hotel voor individualisten. 15 nieuw ingerichte kamers combineren geschiedenis en moderniteit.
