Beschrijving

Seelisberg Youth Hostel is located not far from the legendary Rütliwiese, a historic meadow that symbolises the birth of the Swiss nation. The youth hostel is the perfect place to enjoy an authentically Swiss experience. The traditional 17th-century “Gadenhaus” – a typical Swiss alpine building that is a combination of a barn and a living space – is a welcoming place for families and nature lovers that is steeped in a wealth of Swiss history. Here you will experience luxury of simplicity and true authenticity without sacrificing comfort and quality. Outside the hostel, you can take in unique views of Lake Uri and cook up a delicious meal in our open barbecue spot. Within the hostel, a traditional tiled Swedish stove and the stone walls bear witness to the building’s past. You couldn’t get a more authentically Swiss experience than this!
