Inleiding

Het belevingshotel, geopend in 2022, is een innovatieve constructie met veel hout, zichtbeton en trendy designelementen. Moderne stijlkamers voor maximaal zes personen, sommige met een eigen arven-sauna. Loungegedeelte, dakterras, een restaurant, dry-aged beef, uitgebreid vegetarisch en veganistisch aanbod, een bakkerij-bistro. Spannende Trauffer-avonturenwereld met bezoekerscentrum, cursussen en tentoonstellingen. Honden welkom.

Beschrijving

In Hofstetten — just about 4 km from Brienz and right next to the Ballenberg — the iconic wooden cow with the red spots has been produced since 1938. Since June 2022, the world's largest wooden cow has been standing in front of the newly built Trauffer World of experience and the Bretterhotel (wooden plank hotel). You can find out everything about the history, tradition and sustainable production of wooden cows and toys in the in-house Trauffer world of experience. It is also possible to carve and paint a cow yourself! Two restaurants are available for culinary purposes and there is an event floor for up to 180 people. There are 31 rooms for restful sleep, which - depending on the category - even have a sauna or a slide.
Hofstetten is a small, dreamy, typically Swiss town in the middle of the Bernese Oberland and is only 1.5 hours from Zurich, 1 hour from Bern, 20 minutes from Interlaken and 5 minutes from the shore of the turquoise-blue Lake Brienz. The hotel is surrounded by nature - so a peaceful night's sleep is guaranteed. Walking, biking, swimming, stand up paddling and skiing is possible in the immediate vicinity.

Een gigantische houten koe begroet je bij de ingang. Het inspirerende hotel biedt moderne kamers met maximaal zes bedden, ideaal voor grote gezinnen. Een echt hoogtepunt is de familiekamer met glijbaan en speelgoedkist. Grote familiesuite met koelkast, eetgedeelte en eigen arven-sauna. Ter plaatse bezoekerscentrum met houtsnijcursussen voor jong en oud. Restaurant, zelfbedieningsbistro. Barbecueplaats en speeltuin voor het huis. Ideale locatie voor de toeristisch boeiende gezinsregio.
