Falera
Introdução
Falera is the oldest municipality in the destination of Flims Laax Falera and the smallest in terms of area. Thanks to its altitude it offers a clear and unique view over the Rhine Valley to Chur and from the Lugnez towards Obersaxen.
This sunny municipality is located on the left slope of the Anterior Rhine Valley. With its patrician houses, Falera has retained the charm of a Graubünden mountain village. Its emblem is the church of St. Remigius, built around 500 years ago in the ancient place of worship known as La Mutta. The church is considered one of the most beautiful and interesting historic buildings in Surselva.
