The interactive exhibits will introduce all of your senses to the secrets of this distinctive speciality, as well as explaining its production and traditions. You’re sure to enjoy the cheese production demonstration and tasting.

Viticultural trail

Three informative themed trails will take you through the vineyards of Vully, narrating the story of how great wine is made. You will find several information panels along the way, providing details on the history of viticulture, the grape varieties grown here, the work done in a vineyard and wine production.

Bike, wine and well-being

Discover autumnal Mendrisiotto – known as the Tuscany of Switzerland – on two wheels on a Bike “n” Wine tour. Learn to identify the aromas and flavours of exquisite Ticino wines during a tasting in the heart of the golden vineyard with breathtaking views across the entire region. Rounding off the tour is another wine tasting, where – tired from the day’s exertions – cyclists can enjoy the wine and accompanying canapés with regional produce.

Wine tasting in Chillon Castle

If you are planning to take a guided tour of Chillon Castle, you should not miss the chance to enjoy a Vaud-style aperitif afterwards. The Clos de Chillon can be tasted in a room designed especially for this purpose, known as the Castellan’s Hall. The grand cru from the Chasselas grape is stored in 40 oak barrels beneath the most visited castle in Switzerland.

Wine & Walk –     discover Lavaux

Vineyards and natural amenities in the vicinity of Lausanne, site of the International Olympics Committee headquarters. This authentic excursion will bring you face-to-face with the winegrower, who will welcome you on site. After a walk among the vines, enjoy an aperitif with a tasting in the wine cellar, accompanied by lunch with local produce. The panoramic vista and the view of the lake are without doubt among the most beautiful in Lavaux.

Cheese & wine        tasting

Enjoy a day getting away from it all at an altitude of 2,000 metres above sea level between the Bella Lui and the Tseuzier reservoir. Starting from the dam, the educational trail includes opportunities to taste various wines and cheeses. Typical Valais dishes and raclette round off this circular tour. If you decide to extend the trail, there is also the option of staying overnight in a barn. Quite a memorable experience overall!

Sculpture workshop and drinks

The city of Fribourg is hewn from stone. Local artist Marc Bucher throws open the doors to his “Le Bûcher” sculpture studio to show what can be achieved with a mallet and chisel. Visitors can carve their own stone sculpture and enjoy a drink afterwards.
