A stay in this hotel becomes a journey through time, because the traditional Hotel Ofenhorn is steeped in history. Rooms, passages and dining room exude the spirit of the Belle Époque, for the original furniture and decorations from the time the hotel was founded still grace the interior spaces. Some of the rooms were renovated to be cosy, while four were lovingly restored as "nostalgic rooms" and are reminiscent of the pioneering days of the hotel industry. Even the restaurant keeps to the traditional with its Valais specialities.

Go back in time and bring to life a story that is over 135 years old. The Hotel "Ofenhorn" was first opened in 1883 and expanded in 1897. According to "Swiss Heritage", the hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels in Switzerland, which is why it has been on the list of "Swiss Historic Hotels" since 2008. The envelope of the building, but also the premises and a large part of the furniture are imbued with the Belle Epoque spirit, as in the time of the pioneers of the hotel industry. Our 30 rooms are arranged in different ways to meet the requirements of each of our guests in terms of comfort. Most of our guest rooms have been renovated or restored according to the rules of art.
The Hotel "Ofenhorn" is located in the "Binntal Landscape Park" and is therefore the ideal starting point for long (or shorter) walks in this nature park. The walker who is a bit observant will notice that the paths dotted with minerals sparkle with a thousand lights, real hidden treasures of this valley.

历史酒店

The hotel was built 125 years ago for English visitors - Winston Churchill also stayed in the Binn Valley in 1897. The spirit of the Belle Époque, the pioneering days of the hotel industry, is still felt today: Originally preserved floors, ceilings and walls decorated in the Biedermeier and Art Nouveau styles, with furniture dating from the founding period. The hotel is a listed building and was honoured in 2008 with the label "Swiss Historic Hotels".
