전통적인 분위기의 호텔 오펜호른은 매우 풍부한 역사를 지니고 있어 이곳에 머무는 것은 곧 시간여행을 체험하는 것과 마찬가지이다. 객실과 통로, 다이닝 룸은 벨 에포크의 정신을 발산하며, 내부에 놓인 당시의 가구와 장식들은 여전히 기품이 넘친다. 객실 중 일부는 편안함을 위해 재건축 되었으며, 네 개의 객실은 “노스탤직 룸”으로 사랑스럽게 복원되어 호텔 산업 개척기를 연상케 한다. 레스토랑 또한 발레지방(Valais) 특선 요리의 전통을 지키고 있다.

Go back in time and bring to life a story that is over 135 years old. The Hotel "Ofenhorn" was first opened in 1883 and expanded in 1897. According to "Swiss Heritage", the hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels in Switzerland, which is why it has been on the list of "Swiss Historic Hotels" since 2008. The envelope of the building, but also the premises and a large part of the furniture are imbued with the Belle Epoque spirit, as in the time of the pioneers of the hotel industry. Our 30 rooms are arranged in different ways to meet the requirements of each of our guests in terms of comfort. Most of our guest rooms have been renovated or restored according to the rules of art.
The Hotel "Ofenhorn" is located in the "Binntal Landscape Park" and is therefore the ideal starting point for long (or shorter) walks in this nature park. The walker who is a bit observant will notice that the paths dotted with minerals sparkle with a thousand lights, real hidden treasures of this valley.

스위스 역사 호텔

125년 전 영국 여행객들을 위해 건축된 곳으로, 윈스턴 처칠(Winston Churchill)이 1897년 빈(Binn) 계곡에 방문했을 당시 머물렀다고 한다. 여전히 호텔 산업 초기의 벨 에포크 정신이 느껴지는 이곳에는 처음 깔렸던 마루, 비더마이어(Biedermeier)와 아르누보 스타일로 장식된 천장과 벽, 건축 당시 비치된 가구 등이 잘 보존되어 있다. 호텔 건물은 보존 건축물 명단에 올라가 있으며, 2008년 “스위스의 역사적 호텔” 인증을 수상했다.

전형적인 스위스 호텔

125년 이상의 시간 동안 낭만적인 빈 계곡을 지켜온 호텔 오펜호른은 계곡을 구석구석 탐험하기 위해 찾아온 하이커, 지질학자, 자연 애호가들에게 이상적인 베이스의 역할을 해왔다.

빈 마을은 대표적인 발레지방 스타일의 목조 샬레 오두막이 많아 국가적 중요 보존지역으로 지정되었는데, 호텔의 석조 건물은 그 중에서도 단연 인상적이다.

80년대, 폐쇄 및 방치될 위기에 놓였으나 1987년 프로 빈탈 협동조합(Pro Binntal Cooperative)이 호텔을 매입해 보존될 수 있었다.

호텔 측은 지난 몇 년 동안 역사 기념물 담당 기관과의 긴밀한 협조 하에 세련된 재건축 및 복원작업을 마쳤다.
