巴登 Baden 乍看上去

瑞士巴登 Baden有18個硫磺溫泉含豐富礦物質，水溫達47℃。由於其顯著療效功能，因此被廣泛用來治療疾病。這座小城自羅馬時期已經是聞名的溫泉療養勝地 - Aquae Helveticae。巴登的溫泉區建築金碧輝煌，顯示早期利馬特河 river Limmat岸城鎮的特色。旅客在這裡可以緩解風濕骨痛，治療循環系統疾病。文化名人歌德 Goethe、尼采 Nietzsche和迪倫馬特 Dürrenmatt也曾光顧巴登溫泉，並於此放鬆身心。現在城中的公共浴城也仍然提供溫泉服務，而私人會所的健康療程套餐更五花八門。衆多酒店的溫泉中心，也爲遊客提供一處放鬆身心的寧靜場所。

這活潑的小城座落在蘇黎世和蘇黎世機場20公里以外，只需20分鐘的火車即可到達。這裡擁有繽紛的文化氣氛，國際節慶和豪華大賭場是它的精彩重點。巴登的無車舊城滿佈很多歷史悠久的防禦結構和市政建設，多家劇院和著名的博物館，彰顯深刻的文化內涵和吸引力。拉馬特基金會 Langmatt Foundation是瑞士最優秀的藝術藏組織之一，實業家博朗夫婦 Brown & Boveri遺贈很多印象派時期及以後的珍貴畫作和傢具。年幼的遊客，在瑞士兒童博物館 Swiss Children’s Museum會感到如同在家裡的溫馨舒適，博物館陳列與兒童世界有關的展品，來自一個有300年歷史的兒童協會。

巴登的金色電力塔Power Tower，由巴塞爾建築公司迪納和迪納 Diener & Diener爲ABB和阿爾斯通 Alstom集團設計，距離古木林立的溫泉公園和豪華大賭場不遠。這以前的工業遺址重新注入活力，改成城內的特色觀光景點。今天，前ABB大樓是擁有多間電影院、咖啡廳和會議設施的中心。
