American Music Abroad was founded in 1975 by a high school band director and his wife to fulfil their dream of sharing their love of Europe with high school students, college students and adults.

American Music Abroad has organised over 320 music tours focusing on Western Europe, with over 37,000 participants. Over the past 45 years, we have grown in experience and expertise, but we have always maintained the value of providing our participants with the highest standards and the best musical and cultural experiences at the lowest possible price. We do not compromise on quality. You can rely not only on our integrity, but also on the fact that we are prepared to protect the interests of participants at all times.
Our bands, jazz bands, choirs and orchestras have performed to critical acclaim in some of Europe's finest halls and cathedrals. Students are carefully selected on the basis of recommendations from their head teachers and/or musical achievements demonstrated at auditions.
