Immerse yourself in the Christmas atmosphere of the monastery and experience the most contemplative time of the year in a special way. Listen to inspiring texts about the Christmas season and allow our stories and their magic to lead you into the festive mood. With meditative organ sounds and a warm cup of punch, we conclude the program in the festively decorated monastery church.

Suitable for

All people who are good on their feet walk across three floors in the public part of the monastery during the tour. There is no lift available.

Meeting point

Monastery gate, main entrance of the monastery (on the left side from the monastery flower shop), please enter, start inside the monastery on the ground floor.

Adults: CHF 12.00 Students and apprentices from 16 years: CHF 8.00 Children aged 12 - 16 years: CHF 6.00 Children aged 6 to 12 years have free admission, we recommend a tour for ages 6 and up. Cancellation The general terms and conditions of Engelberg Monastery apply. In case of no-show the full amount will be charged.
