Fasnachtsumzug in Wiler

Get ready for a real highlight of the Lötschental Carnival: the carnival parade in Wiler, organised by the Alpina Wiler Music Society. You can expect a colourful spectacle with imaginative costumes, atmospheric Guggen music and a parade full of energy and joy. And of course, the legendary Tschäggättä are not to be missed – as every year, they provide the highlight of the parade. The parade starts at 2.30 p.m. at the valley station in Wiler. It will proceed along Dorfstrasse from Wiler to the school building. Afterwards at 17:00, the carnival groups and Tschäggättä will be awarded prizes in the Wiler sports hall. Carnival groups can register with Tobias Ritler, President of the Alpina Wiler Music Society.

Refreshments will also be available: various food stands invite you to linger and offer a wide selection of regional specialities, hearty snacks and sweet treats. Whether you're looking for a quick bite to eat or a convivial get-together with friends, there's something for everyone here.
