As part of the European Heritage Days, Castello Visconteo in Locarno hosts a programme dedicated to the Roman era.
Programme
At Castello Visconteo, two days are dedicated to the Roman era.
- Historical reenactments with educational activities
- Thematic stations on equipment, weaponry and Roman fencing
- Guided visits to the museum’s archaeological collection from the Roman period
The event is organised in collaboration with Legio VIII Avgvsta – Helvetia and is aimed at anyone interested in history and archaeology.
