One Day Retreat in Engelberg

Experience life outside the box.

Rediscover movement — curious, playful and free.

We all know the hamster wheel of everyday life: routines, obligations, expectations, and the endless list of things that still need to be done. This retreat is an invitation to step out of it for a day, to change perspective, to become curious again, and to awaken one’s own creativity anew – by leaving the familiar and looking at life differently.

Surrounded by the impressive Engelberg mountain landscape, we spend the day with movement, nature, encounters, and tranquility. We are on this journey together, pausing, eating outdoors, and taking our time to truly perceive our surroundings. Afterwards, we dive into a two-hour Movement to Stillness workshop.

With intuitive movement and dance, we explore what it feels like to move without having to do anything right. To play. To experiment. Perhaps also to leave one’s comfort zone and rediscover natural, intuitive forms of movement and expression that sometimes get lost as we go through life.

My work combines my training and years of experience in contemporary dance, yoga, and meditation, as well as over 20 years of experience in teaching movement. It is particularly important to me to create a safe, non-judgmental, and uncomplicated space where everyone feels welcome.

Requirements

You don't need any dance or movement experience and you don't have to be particularly flexible. Just come as you are.

Meeting point

We will meet at 10 a.m. at Engelberg train station and spend the day together until 6 p.m.

Remarks

The retreat will be taught in German and English.
