From October 8th to 11th, 2026, the seventh edition of the Festival will be dedicated to the subtle boundary that unites and separates speech and silence.
Words allow us to name the world, to describe our experiences, to connect with others; but they can also become a tool of exclusion, manipulation, and distance. Likewise, silence can open a space for listening and reflection, or become a place where some voices are erased.
In a time when communication seems to occupy every space, interrogating language means returning to ask ourselves how we speak, who is being listened to, which stories find their place in the collective narrative and which, instead, remain off-screen.
It is along this boundary—between what we say, what we choose to keep silent, and what we still need to learn to listen to—that Sconfinare Festival 2026 invites audiences to meet, think, and cross new thresholds.
