Who has ever heard "Smoke on the Water" played on dulcimer and bass? Or a brass band with seven wild women presenting brass music in a cutting-edge way? Or a trio blending folk songs and tango?
Since 2023, Kulturplatz Davos has been hosting a concert series in the arcaded square in the heart of Davos: "ALPINE | MUSIC | DAVOS - New Sounds from the Mountains." Here, folk music traditions are reimagined with sounds from jazz, pop, rock, funk, and much more.
