Intro
Gardi Hutter wordlessly stages a clownish journey from emptiness to life with minimal means and great expressiveness.
After nine productions with elaborate and playful stage sets, Gardi Hutter faces the empty stage. She confronts nothingness in a comically philosophical way: Nothing is never nothing - it holds infinite potential. Nature plays, evolution invents. Life grows out of apparent emptiness, order emerges from chaos, and nothing becomes - everything. With her stubborn humor and intense physicality, the clown embarks on a journey through the birth of things, from the first twitch to complete transformation. The microcosm of theater becomes a creative - and comic - macrocosm. With minimal means and maximum expressiveness, she plays with the opposites of emptiness and fullness, stasis and movement, absurdity and meaning.
