Herzlichen willkommen - Bienvenue & Welcome to the International Literature Festival in Leukerbad. On the Thursday before the festival, two authors and our guide will once again take you on a literary hike.

Meeting point: 10:15 AM Bus Station Leukerbad
Duration: Pure walking time just over 2 hours. Distance 6.2 km. 165 m ascent, 406 m descent
End around 4 PM in Inden. Return trip to Leukerbad by bus.
Price: Fr. 70.– (limited number of places, tickets only available online in advance)
Lunch at the Bodmenstübli restaurant and bus ride Inden–Leukerbad is included.
Luggage can be stored during the hike in Leukerbad.
From Station to Station
The leisurely hike from Leukerbad to Inden follows the old Roman road. The varied route takes you through the hamlets of Birchen and Bodmen and tells the rich cultural landscape and also a bit of Wallis railway history. Are you ready to board? The final stop is the old station in Inden.
The hike is accompanied by a hiking guide from the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park. Participants will be literarily cared for by Odilo Abgottspon and Franziska Füchsl.
