Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Pierre Gianadda Foundation: POETRY AND MUSIC RECITAL “WE ARE INFINITELY IN AGREEMENT” By Juliette Huot and Laura Sighirdjian: Theatrical performance and Karl Gaspar: Piano “It seemed to me that I had known him forever [...] I love him very much. I felt it right away.” Rainer Maria Rilke to his wife Clara Westhoff Rilke—September 2, 1902 This is the story of two men who seemed to have nothing in common: age, language, background, and temperament. Yet from this encounter arose a deep friendship rooted in their quest for the absolute, their dedication to their work, and above all, their love of art. It is this encounter and this friendship between the sculptor and the poet that we invite you to discover through a poetic and musical recital. The performance weaves together texts from their correspondence, Rilke’s poems, and his monograph on Rodin, all interspersed with musical interludes. TICKET PRICES FOR THE EVENT Admission: CHF 30.-Raiffeisen cardholders (MemberPlus): CHF 10.-Friends of the Foundation: CHF 10.Duration: 1 hour 10 minutes / 1 hour 15 minutesThe gardens will be open to the public from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., as a prelude to the recital.
