Arthur Rosatti (1916-2005), a printer from Biel/Bienne, came every summer with his family to Grengiols, the birthplace of his wife Anna (née Walpen). The family, consisting of their three children and Rosatti's elderly mother, arrived by train. Luggage was transported from the station to the village by horse-drawn cart. From the 1960s onwards, Rosatti travelled from Biel to Grengiols by Vespa.
