Grengiols Elementary School Blog
Overview
Intro
The Trichje will take place on December 4, 2026. It always starts at 10:00 a.m. and lasts until 4:00 p.m.
In the morning, the children walk from the school building (MZA) all the way down to the bottom of the village (Heinen Garage) and then back to the village square. In the afternoon, door-to-door visits are made regularly. There, the children receive candy, tangerines, and nuts.
These gifts are distributed in the old gym at 4:15 p.m. Each child receives a sack filled to the brim; a portion is set aside for the schoolchildren’s recess. Whatever remains is donated to various institutions.
