UN TOUT P’TIT PEU AVANT PLUS TARD
Overview
Intro
Olivier Mottet
Three decades. Thirty years of writing, expressed through a series of poetic journeys—each one a slice of life. True to his world of singer-songwriter music, Olivier Mottet has chosen the purity of guitar and voice to carry his words. His sensitive poetry and sincere commitment earned him the French-language public radio award for his song “La Wii” in 2010. Now he returns to the essence of his art: the melody of words and the vibration of strings. This project also takes on a particularly intimate dimension: Marie Mottet lends her voice to her husband; a beautiful bond that had already been revealed in 2017 on the spiritual album “Mes Armes.” Sixteen tracks chosen as a bouquet of obvious choices, the words and notes intertwine in turn and form a kind of musical anamnesis. It is also a mirror held up to the passing of time, an invitation to pause for a moment—“just a tiny bit”—before life carries us further along…
