Our beautiful first-class hotel is situated in an absolutely peaceful and sunny location high above the Lago Maggiore surrounded by a subtropical garden. All our elegant luxury rooms face south and offer a magnificent view towards the lake that delights the eye and the soul. An exquisite and delicious range of dishes is served in our elegant restaurants with high reputation. In summer, you can enjoy the meals on our panorama terrace.

Swiss Bike Hotel

Practical flat rates predominate in the extensive nature surroundings of Casa Berno. Local biking specialists offer tours with different levels of difficulty as well as gastrocultural trips, and riding technique workshops. The hotel’s infrastructure includes a garage for the bikes, as well as a servicing and repair facility, packed lunches, and a laundry service. Helmets are made available free of charge, as are 20 Merida mountain bikes. Maps and GPS data for individual tours are available too.

Getting there

From Bellinzona, drive towards Locarno. After the Morettina tunnel, follow the sign to Ascona to the roundabout. In the roundabout, take the first exit and turn right immediately. Follow the street for approx. 300 m now turn left, drive uphill along the street Madonna della Fontana to the Monte Verità and then follow our hotel signs.
