Bellinzona in Pumpkin
Overview
Intro
On Sunday, October 18th, during the autumn market, the Bellinzona Traders' Association will be hosting an event for the second year, transforming the city into a veritable pumpkin kingdom!
The historic center is tinged with orange amidst the scents, flavors, and colors of autumn. Streets and shop windows will be adorned with pumpkins of every shape and size, themed tractors, and stalls brimming with local products: cured meats, preserves, sweets, and pumpkin specialties.
Big news this year: pumpkin salamis, made by master butchers—a preview not to be missed!
With polenta, cream soups, and live music, the atmosphere will be authentically rustic and festive.
You can also enter themed contests and win SCB vouchers worth CHF 300: * Biggest pumpkin—bring your own orange giant!
- Most artistic pumpkin—prize for originality and quirkiness.
- Guess the weight of the pumpkin—just a glance is enough to try your luck!
For the first two contests, please send an email to info@commercianti-bellinzona.ch, indicating your participation.
Don't miss it... because this year pumpkin has never been so good!
