Caterina Gomirato schloss ihr Studium der Bühnenbildnerei an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Venedig ab, wo sie sich mit malerischen Ansätzen auseinandersetzte und diese vertiefte. Nach dem Gewinn eines Stipendium im Rahmen des „Progetto Leonardo“ arbeitete sie bei „Art for Art“ Theater Service GmbH, einem Atelier für Bühnenbildnerei in Wien als Bühnenmalerin. Neben ihrer malerischen Tätigkeit sammelt sie Erfahrungen im Verlagswesen als Illustratorin und arbeitet mit Kulturvereinen und Grafikstudios zusammen.“
