Lumpen Station explores the radio as an extended exhibition format in the field of contemporary art.

Lumpen Station is a platform founded in 2019 as an acoustic extension of the espace libre visarte Biel/Bienne, with the intention of exploring radio as an extended exhibition format in the field of contemporary art. Lumpen Station develops its curatorial program through invitations and intervenes both in institutional art venues and in non-traditional, site-sensitive contexts.
